TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 3 Years Required License: IN or compact license required Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: - Med/Surg skills - Starting IVs - Nasal Cannula - Cerner experience - COVID vaccine (effective 9/1) with medical or religious exemptions possible with a doctor's note Job Description: - Provide patient care in a medical surgical unit adjacent to the Emergency Department. - Care for patients being held overnight for continued work up as observation patients. - Handle diagnoses including COVID, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, and other symptoms requiring further work up. - Potential to take on charge nurse responsibilities based on operational needs, with provided training and resources. - Ability to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals. - Work every other weekend, with requirements to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Participate in orientation with 12 hours non-billable. - Maintain compliance with the required flu vaccine, accepting medical or religious exemptions only.
