• RTO - Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer.
• RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion.
• Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs not needed if listed on the application.

  • This position is for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg.
  • 48 or 36 hours work week.
  • Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6.
  • For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • EPIC EXP REQUIRED.
  • Unit may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients.
  • The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care.
  • Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
    • Job Requirements
    • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
    • BLS - must be able to read and interpret strips.
    • Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
    • 1.5 years exp, exp in a level 1 or 2 preferred.
    • Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion to be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
      • Schedule Information
      • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
      • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Details: 43-bed/Med Surg unit with a concentration on post-general surgery patients. We do get medical overflow as well.
          • Additional Details
          • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
          • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
