Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit
(PCU) - ED Hold/Acuity Adaptable Float Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per
week for 4, 12-hour shifts Experience: Minimum 3 years required,
with 3-4 travel assignments completed. First-time travelers not
accepted. License: Must have IN or compact license in hand.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required Must-Have: - Telemetry
skills - IV starts - Cardiac drips - Experience with Cerner Job
Description: - Float among Acuity Adaptive Units and the Emergency
Department (ED) - Provide PCU/MedSurg level care for patients
awaiting transfer - Handle high patient admission, discharge, and
transfers - Work every other weekend, with a requirement to work 2
out of 3 major holidays - Required to float within scope to meet
facility needs - Work with charting software: Cerner - Orientation
provided for 12 hours on a non-billable basis - Required to wear
specific scrub colors: black bottoms and red top - Adhere to
COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements, with exemptions available
for medical/religious reasons.
